Cooltech Engineers is a wooden cooling tower manufacturer and exporter in India. Our CCA pressure-treated timber cooling towers are durable, economical and built for large process duties.
A wooden cooling tower is an industrial cooling tower whose structure is built from treated timber. Cooltech uses wood pressure-treated with copper chromate arsenic (CCA) for long-lasting durability. Hot water is distributed over the fill while induced draft fans draw air through it, cooling the water by evaporation.
Cooltech Engineers offers wooden cooling towers in 107 models of induced draft crossflow and counterflow design, handling 45 to 5,000 m³/hr per cell.
Models vary in air travel, fill height, fill pattern and fan diameter depending on the design.
Air flows across the falling water with gravity distribution, making inspection and cleaning easy.
Air rises against the falling water for high thermal performance in a compact plan area.
Cells combined in banks to meet increased cooling requirements, from 45 to 5,000 m³/hr per cell.

Why many process plants still choose timber.
CCA pressure-treated wood gives a long-lasting, reliable structure.
An economical choice compared with many other cooling tower constructions.
Timber is a renewable material with a low carbon footprint.
The timber structure does not rust, keeping maintenance low.
Removes heat from water and process fluids efficiently.
Because the wood stays wet in operation, the chance of fire is extremely low.
Cooltech cooling towers serve process, power and HVAC plants, including:

Cooltech Engineers Pvt. Ltd. designs, manufactures and services cooling towers for industries in India and abroad.
Designing, manufacturing and servicing cooling towers since the 1970s.
Cooling towers supplied and running across India and export markets.
A Cooling Technology Institute (CTI) member and ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer; towers are built to CTI standards.
Supplying the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa – clients include Dangote Group (Nigeria), Habesha Steel (Ethiopia), SCOUL (Uganda) and Wega Foods (Cameroon).
Cooltech wooden cooling towers handle 45 m³/hr to 5,000 m³/hr per cell, across 107 models in crossflow and counterflow designs. Multiple cells can be combined for larger plants.
Counterflow towers move air upward against the falling water and usually need less plan area for the same duty. Crossflow towers move air across the water, use gravity distribution and are easier to inspect and clean. Our engineers recommend the right design after reviewing your flow rate, temperatures and site.
Send the water flow rate (m³/hr), hot water inlet and required cold water outlet temperatures, site wet-bulb temperature, available space and application. With these we can select the model and quote quickly.
Yes. Cooltech supplies wooden cooling towers to customers around the globe, including the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa.
Tell us your flow rate and temperatures – our engineers will recommend the right model.
